This series is composed of images, or "portraits" if you will, of our cosmic neighbors both near and far. Most of these are adaptations of images captured by the Hubble and other space telescopes.  Because these celestial objects are kindred to ourselves, we recognize them as intrinsically beautiful when, through technology, they are brought nearer to our field of vision.  I hope that my interpretations in glass serve to reinforce the intimacy of our relationships with these seemingly distant neighbors.
